How it works

How Reverb charges UK sellers

UK sellers pay one fee when an item sells: 5% of the total value of the sale, postage included, with payment processing included in it. A sale to a buyer outside the UK adds a 1% cross-border fee.

FeeHow much
Selling fee5% of the item and postage, at most £500
Payment processing0% for UK sellers
Cross-border fee1% when the buyer is outside the UK

Reverb’s fees are quoted before VAT. A full refund returns the whole 5%; a partial refund doesn’t return part of it.

Not fully confirmed: Reverb’s billing policy says the cross-border fee excludes the European Economic Area, which its UK help article doesn’t mention; the calculator charges it on any buyer outside the UK. Reverb doesn’t say whether VAT is added to UK sellers’ fees, so adding it is up to you.
