Where the buyer pays the marketplace for the postage label (Vinted, for example), the postage isn’t counted on either side. Business and VAT settings are each calculator’s defaults.

Seller fees, buyer fees and why the price you set isn’t what you keep

UK marketplaces charge in two ways. Some take a selling fee from you when the item sells, often with a payment processing fee on top. Others charge the buyer a protection or service fee and take little or nothing from you. The calculators show both, so you can see what the buyer really pays as well as what you receive.

Every page says when its fees were last checked and links to the marketplace’s own page. Where something couldn’t be confirmed, the page says so instead of guessing.

Questions

Spotted a fee that's changed? Email [email protected] and we'll update it.

Which UK selling app has the lowest fees?

For the seller, the ones that charge buyers instead: Vinted takes nothing from sellers, and eBay takes no final value fee from UK private sellers on most things. Fees aren’t the whole story, though: where your buyers are matters more. Use the comparison above with your own price.

Are these calculators free?

Yes, free with no sign-up. They’re made by FlipSync, a cross-listing tool for UK resellers.

How up to date are the fees?

Each calculator shows the date its fees were last checked against the marketplace’s official fee page, with a link to it. If you spot a change, email [email protected].
